Gym Rules
(Note: Rules apply to both Gym Leaders & Challengers unless stated otherwise.)
Format: National Dex OU
• Always follow /rules.
• No revives & potions allowed.
• Maximum of 1 Legendary/Mythic/Ultra Beast Pokemon
• Legendary Pokemon are not allowed IF the Leader is not using a Legend (Make sure to check if the [L] in /gyms is green or red, red means no legend.)
• No using FEAR tactics or any variations of FEAR. (FEAR Explanation)
• No PP Stalling or variations of PP Stalling.
• Your Pokemon must not have a nickname. (Colored nicknames are allowed as long as it includes the pokemons name)
• Follow Pokemon Limits [3 for Singles displayed in /gyms].
• You cannot use the following moves: Clangorous Soul, Destiny Bond, Shell Smash, Skill Swap, Sonic Boom, Steel Beam, Z-Hypnosis & Z-Sleep Powder.
• You may not use any Pokémon that's banned from the National Dex meta. [Click here to see the National Dex format]
• Pokémon from the Hisui region are allowed in the gyms. (Click Here)
• You cannot use Pokémon with the following abilities: Arena Trap, Moody, Power Construct or Shadow Tag .
• You cannot use any Pokemon that does not have their ability coded. [Ask Staff if unsure].
• You must follow the following clauses in all battles: Baton Pass, Dynamax, Endless Battle, Evasion, Item, Moody, OHKO, Sleep, Species [For more info

• If the opponent (Challenger or Leader) disconnects unexpectedly during the battle, wait at least a minute, do not heal or alter your Pokemon. If they
rejoin, resume where the battle ended.
Elite4 Rules
(Note: Rules apply to both Gym Leaders & Challengers unless stated otherwise.)
Format: National Dex Uber
• Always follow /rules
• Revives and healing items are not allowed
• Follow Pokémon Limits [6v6 for both the Elite 4 and Champion.]
• No duplicate Pokémon [Pokémon with the same Pokédex ID]
• Your Pokémon must not have a nickname. (Colored nicknames are allowed as long as it includes the Pokémon's name)
• No Mega Rayquaza, Zacian, Zacian-Crowned, Calyrex-Shadow Rider, Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre
• Pokémon from the Hisui region are allowed in the gyms. (Click Here)
• 1 Mega & 1 Legendary allowed [Mega Legends & Ultra Necrozma count for both slots]
• 1 Ultra Beast allowed
• No using FEAR tactics or any variations of FEAR. (FEAR Explanation)
• The following moves are banned: Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, Fishous Rend and Bolt Beak
• Elite Four Leaders may only use Pokémon whose original form aligns with the gyms type
• Challengers must ALWAYS start the battle with their Pokémon thrown out first
• If your opponent disconnects unexpectedly during battle, wait a few minutes and do not heal or alter your Pokémon. If they rejoin, resume the battle from where you were
• Challengers MAY NOT "borrow" another person's team for the sole purpose of defeating a leader. You must train your own Pokémon with your own move sets and strategies. If you’ve purchased a Pokémon in a trade, you may still challenge a leader as long as it follows the previous rules. Elite Four Leaders may still disqualify you if they feel you’re using a Pokémon/team that’s not yours. For example, if you’re using the same team & strategy that an Elite Four Leader lost to the previous day, they may see fit to disqualify you.
• Regardless of if the leader is using a legendary or not, challengers will always be allowed to use a legendary, if they desire.
• Raise to cap will not be used in Elite Four/Champion battles.
• Both Leader and Challenger must have a mega band equipped during battle.
• You must follow the following clauses in all battles: Species, Endless Battle, Sleep, Evasion, OHKO, Dynamax, Moody, Item and Baton Pass.
• There are only 3 E4 slots available per E4 Gym.
• E4 leaders teams must include at least 2 of each dual-type, the final 2 Pokémon can be either typing.
• Staff Only Clause: There can only be 1 Staff Member per E4 Gym.
• Leader Only Clause: You may only apply for one Elite4 spot.
Challenger Exclusive Rules:
• You must always throw out your Pokemon before the leader.
• You must always start with the Pokemon you throw out.
• You may not borrow Pokemon from other players in order to challenge gyms, they must be your own Pokemon, that you have trained with your ideas. If you’ve purchased a pokemon in a trade you may still challenge a gym as long as it follows the previous rules. Gym Leaders may still disqualify you if they feel you’re using a Pokemon/team that’s not yours. For example if you’re using the same team & strategy that a Gym Leader lost to the previous day, they may see fit to disqualify you.
• You may not disclose any Gym Leader teams or counters/strategies in order to beat specific Gym Leaders/Gyms.
Leader Exclusive Rules:
• You may only use Pokemon that align with your gym type.
• Your Pokemon should be the exact level of the gym cap.
• Gym Leaders will now be allowed to apply with 1 back-up Pokémon that they'll be able to swap around with the other 3 Pokémon being used.
Gym Leader Guidelines:
• Always be nice & welcoming to Challengers of your Gym.
• Your Pokemon must be correctly IV & EV trained.
• You're only allowed to reject a Challenger with a good reason, ask a Staff Member if you are unsure. If you apply for a Gym Leader position, you're
responsible for accepting battles.
• You may not frequently AFK as it detracts from everyone's experience.
• Upon two weeks of inactivity, your Gym Leader status will be revoked. If Staff Members are notified beforehand, an extra two weeks of grace period may be granted.
• Gym Leaders will be given access to /gymleaderrewards, which gives rewards depending on how many battles you have completed.
Gym Leader Commands:
• /leader accept - accepts the most recent battle request
• /leader deny - denies the most recent battle request
• /leader give - gives your most recent opponent their badge
• /leader won - marks the most recent battle as a win (to track your win/loss stats)
• /leader stats - view your win/loss ratio for each gym you're a leader of
